Palatino Traffic
PALATINO Traffic interlocking pavers help moderate traffic because they produce changes in environmental noise and vibrations inside vehicles, thereby attracting the attention of drivers.
Such noise and vibration effects have been assessed by means of measurement campaigns inside vehicles covering a section of road made up in part of pavers and in part of asphalt.
The measurements show how, during transit over pavers, a considerable change occurs (depending on the speed) as regards noise levels inside the vehicle. There is also a clear change in the way the parts of the vehicle vibrate, with much more strongly perceived vibrations.
